Mississippi Palisades State Park Interesting Information- There are some sinkholes around, which apparently are caves that go straight down. - Is in the "Driftless Area", which wasn't touched by glaciation years ago. - Location Savanna Size 2,500 acres TerrainForested and hilly with steep cliffs and limestone rock formations near the Mississippi River. There are some cool rock formations with names such as "Indian Head" and "Twin Sisters". They seem to be popular rock climbing locales.
