Very Nice Site About the Park
Further Insights The lake has great fishing, I would say that is primarily what people go here for. The trails pretty much go around the lake, and are nice.
The side opposite the restaurant isn't really developed and is very nice. It is pretty in the summer, lots of flowers blooming in the prairie. The place is usually pretty busy, but if you hike out there likely will be few people on the trails.
One time when I was there, my brother and I saw this giant soft shell turtle meandering down the spillway, I thought it was pretty awesome.
