Indian Hill Forest Preserve Interesting Information- Sorry, don't know too much about the place. - - Location Rockford Size 50 acres TerrainBorders Rock River, mostly forested, a bit of savanna like area and some white pines. Trails Some trails, couple miles at most. Links W.C.F.P.D. Site Further Insights The WCFPD site says there aren't trails here, but there actually is a loop. It's only been around for about 8 years, so the trails must be fairly new. You can go down a steep hill to the river although I don't think any of the trails go there. It's totally infested with garlic mustard in many areas, especially by the river.
