Kishwaukee Gorge Forest Preserve Interesting Information- - - Location Rockford Size 128 acres TerrainMostly forested with steep rocky gorges going down to the Kishwaukee River. Trails 2.0 miles Links W.C.F.P.D. Site Further Insights This is definitely one of the coolest places around Rockford. The gorges are pretty deep, climbing up them gives some nice views. There is a wood staircase and lookout at the most picturesque area. It is especially beautiful here in the fall.
