Seward Bluffs Forest Preserve Interesting Information- There is a campground here. - - Location Pecatonica Size 202 acres TerrainThe creek winds through dolomite cliffs and lots of it seems to be wooded. Trails 4 miles Links W.C.F.P.D. Site Further Insights I went to this place after a big snowfall and it was beautiful. The cliffs are pretty spectacular, for flat Illinois anyway, and the stream winds around through the valley. There was this spot with an old picnic table in the stream, would have been a cool shot to have a family sitting having a picnic in the ice and snow, would've been weird but interesting. No families could be found however, so my creativity went wasted, oh how horrible.
